BMW i7: technical updates and 2023 price

The 2024 BMW i7 combines electric power with luxury. Its strong electric engine makes driving smooth and quiet. Inside, it’s comfy, with fancy screens and lots of space. The i7 is better than other cars in how far it can go and how luxurious it feels.

What’s New for 2024?

In 2024, BMW is adding two new engines to the i7: one with 650 horsepower and another with 449 horsepower. The 650-hp engine is really fast, reaching 60 mph in 3.5 seconds, but we don’t know much about the 449-hp engine yet. The regular i7 model will stay the same for now.

  • It also has a system that warns you if you’re about to collide with something in front of you and can automatically brake in emergencies.
  • There are bright lights that turn on automatically when you need more visibility and a warning sound if you’re going too fast.
  • The car encourages seat belt use, has special locks for children’s safety, and has anchor points for child seats.
  • If you lock the car while driving, the doors will lock automatically.
  • There’s a security feature to prevent the engine from starting if someone tries to steal the car.
  • There’s a seatbelt for the middle rear passenger, and the brake lights flash when you brake hard to make sure others see you.
  • It also warns you if you’re drifting out of your lane and allows you to lock and unlock all doors at once for convenience.
  • Lastly, there’s a kit to fix small tire punctures yourself.

The i7 has a big and comfortable cabin like the regular 7-series car. It’s not just luxurious; it also has fancy technology, competing with Mercedes-Benz and Tesla. Inside, it looks nice, with lots of space and nice materials. The Executive Lounge package offers extra comfy seats, wireless charging, and soft headrests. The trunk is big, and there’s a way to fit longer things through the back seats.
